had one for about 3 years. great fish once it overcomes it's shyness. My guy would pick the occasional snail/crab but eats mainly PE mysis

Thanks everyone for the info. I think they are a very cool fish and maybe someday (not anytime soon though) I might consider getting one.

that is my first fish, from a 30gal to a 80 gal to a 220gal. i belive that he is a strong easy guy. ate every crab i put in there n also every tiny fish i put in there too. often shy to come out from hidding, moslty comes out at night.
