I agree looks like bubble algae. I have a little bit of both red & green in my tank.

Red bubble algae would be my guess.

I have a ton of them...get rid of it! They are very slimy and will spread like crazy...I would prefer green bubble over this as you can pick out the green really easy, this just gushes and slimes....YUCK

I see bubble algae! Good thing you removed it that stuff can explode like wildfire if left unchecked.
