Default Please help to ID

I picked up this piece in a bag of tank rubble I purchased from AA and when I first placed it in my tank it slimed slightly for 4 weeks. I thought it was a goner but then it settled down and now I see new growth. I thought it was some macro algae but the slime trail leads me to think it is some kind of coral? The bulbs on the right look fine but the ones on the left look empty or even cracked open. Each bulb is about the size of a "Sugar Crisp" Any help to ID is much appreciated. Thank you.

Something just don't look right with that, I would really think twice before adding that to my tank.
Best guess is also valonia with chicken pocks
Your aware that when bubbles are popped the release hundreds of new bubble algae.

I don't think it is valonia/bubble algae, it is not green. The bubbles are not round but more rice shaped and red with redder dots.

It comes in different colours shapes. I've had the red oblong shaped ones. The red dots will sprout new bubbles. It doesn't seem to be as bad as the green, but still a pain in the but.

I agree looks like bubble algae. I have a little bit of both red & green in my tank.

I have a ton of them...get rid of it! They are very slimy and will spread like crazy...I would prefer green bubble over this as you can pick out the green really easy, this just gushes and slimes....YUCK
