Okay thanks, can you recommend a good source for calcium chloride dihydrate or should I just talk with those sponsors?

I bought some Dowflake at a place called "Univar" a couple years ago. It might be worth looking into, they may have some of the "reef safe" type still. I've have used ChemMaster AKA littlesilvermax as well, he's very good to deal with.

I deal with chemaster aka little silvermax as well and that is what I would recommend. He is coming to Calgary in a while so see if you can work something out with him. In the mean time how much do you need? I can likely fix you up with a few pounds.

I was at costco the other night and they have 4 kg jugs of epson salt for like $6.50.
