make your tank as long as your can. i just ordered my tank (48x16x18) and originally i was going with a 40breeder but had to make it a bit longer. last thing you want is to regret not having a long enough tank.

I agree, personally I would made the tank as long as possible, then worry about width, then height last. My tank is 24 inches high and it is a bit of a pain for cleaning.

i was thinking the exact same thing guys, i want a longer wider tank than a taller tank, my ideal would be 36"x24" or something like that
