120-150 gallon?
well im looking at building a bigger reef tank but have no idea what to get. I want to keep the price down as much as possible but still have a good outcome. I was leaning towards a 5' 150 gallon tank with T5 or a 120 with T5 but then started to think that may be to much money so then i was thinking a 60 gallon but i figured im going to be upgrading to a 150 or so eventually in the future so why not now? i just wanted to see what you guys suggested on next size tanks for me, and prices i would be looking at for them thanks.

Serioulsy, I'd rather go with a well built 60g than an under funded 150g. Get the smaller tank, and set up a seperate account to start saving for the upgrade. If you get good deals on used equipment for a smaller tank, you would probably recover most of the cost when you sell it down the road.

alright thanks for the help anyone else have any ideas?

what do you think would be a good size for a reef? around 50-80 gallon tank, what dimensions?

I like 75G tanks... I think they are a good size for starting out a reef..

make your tank as long as your can. i just ordered my tank (48x16x18) and originally i was going with a 40breeder but had to make it a bit longer. last thing you want is to regret not having a long enough tank.
