It's just a 33g - my advice, buy a new one. Why risk 33g on the floor over >50$?

Wouldn't hurt to clean it, and fill with silicone.. just to help reinforce it.. then test in the bathtub.

It's not worth it. If you need to save money search for 2nd hand pumps, valves etc. etc....
