![]() I think a lot depends on what your bio load etc will be and what kind of nano tank you want to keep. I use a skimmer on my sps 24 gal nano but I've stopped using one on my 14 gal nano. I know a few people with nano's that don't use skimmers but do regular water changes instead, and their tanks are very nice.
I haven't heard anything about the oceanic nano skimmer so I can't help you there. Sorry you might be just fine with regular water changes. hth cheers

![]() you should take a look at the DOC 9002, its a nano skimmer i think good for tanks up to 45 galons.. its super quiet and doesnt release any micro bubbles... the best part is how tiny it is...
