You won't get much of a dawn/dusk effect using new gen and fijis on the outside.. that would be my only concern.

my personal preference is 50% new generation 50% fiji purple. I like that shallow reef look.

i know this a very old thread but need some input on lighting i have an 8 bulb t5 fixture now i have two of the bulbs but need 6 more i have a fiji purple and a midday. should i add 2 more middays or just one ? and what colour for the rest / config?
