![]() I had a an sps that totally bleached out. I thought it RTN'ed but I could see polyps on it. I moved it lower in the tank and it took month before any color came back. The coral sounds stressed or it has RTN'ed on you

![]() Whats your sg?
Thats pretty fast to bleach out unless your lights are drastically different than the tank the monti came from. |

![]() Never had one of these but is it:
On the bottom Strong Flow Mod-High light If you just added it yesterday most corals take time to adjust to their new surroundings. How old is your tank?? ![]() |

![]() 82 is not high as long as the temp stays consistant, my tank runs at 81-81.5 24/7 and is very healthy. It is drastic daily temp fluctuations rather that any certain set temp that can be bad for the general tank health. |

![]() Sometimes RTN situations just cannot be explained, some wild harvested colonies just never seem to acclimate vs aquacultured varieties.

![]() My tanks have hit 86 with no problems, I doubt it's the temp.
Is it just getting paler or is it actually losing tissue? As Oceanic said sometimes wild harvested colonies never adjust to life in a tank |
