You must really love your toys. I've been wanting to buy a really nice fancy car as my own personal graduation gift for myself, but gas prices make me balk at the idea.
I bet I could also run an eco-car off one of my dogs if they were converted to that kind of fuel.

I'm driving a 90' Honda Civic Si (30mpg city) and I am seriously considering getting a Honda Fit (43mpg City).
My friend has a Prius, which is very nice but at around ~$35K.......... not worth it. Cheers, Vic [veng68]

Instead of complaining about how much oil companies make, join in. Buy some shares in them and enjoy the ride. A totally un Canadian thought, but hey, sometimes I think a little different. As for taxes have you filed yours yet? Enjoy. The "EVIL" United States celebrated tax freedom day today. Anyone care when guess our's is?

So for those of you who can't manage the price of a Smart car or a hybrid; perhaps you should get a motorcycle. My R1100RS gets a lousy 45 mpg city and 55 hwy, while my little F650GS gets 65 and 75. Even burning premium, its still a bargain. And they're a ton of fun to boot.

I beleive that the Americans per capita debt is smaller than ours. I'll need to verify that though.
After some research I was wrong. Canadian per capita debt: $15500 2007 US per capita debt: $30400 2008 This is just Federal debt.
