Gas Prices

Hey, all you Albertans. What are paying for gas at the pump in Calgary and Edmonton? We're at $121.9 right now and supposed to hit $130. soon!

PS: Too Bad Flames fans. I was cheering for Iggy & CO.

Average in Calgary right now seems to be $121.9/l. You can get it around $1.16/l at some of the discount places.

I think it's just about time to trade in the Hummer for a Smart Car :p

I think we are about there as well, I just know our last fill up was almost $60 for a 55l tank.

Just filled my truck; 118.4 for regular. This snow and cold has got to go so I can use my motorcycles full time. I like the 65mpg in the city much better than the 16.5 the truck gets.

East Van, Husky station, Diesel @ $136.9
My truck has a 135L tank = $185.00 for fill up.
Hurry up Alberta and get with it with those oil tar sands, eh!

I just filled up this morning and it was $1.14

Double edged sword for me.. Yes I pay more for gas but that also keeps me employed!

Ya so we can ship it to the US and continue to pay more here that in the US.

My wife and I just went shopping for a new vehicle and expected to see new vehicles with a 50+ MPGallon. Nothing came close that had we could find.

On another story my Uncle from Grand Prairie (RIP) in 1974 did a retro fit on the carb of his 1970 Chrysler New Yorker that gave him 70+ MPG at that time. He sold out for enough to pay off his farm and go on a holiday. He was never sure who purchased it but all relevant , tools, carb, and paper work was taken.

So the technology is out there I know for sure.

fishoholic 04-23-2008 07:11 PM

We're at 117.9 in Edmonton  I can remember when I first started driving it was at 24.9 $20 to fill up back then, about $60 now.
