i have one at the back of my tank i believe, never gave it much thought, always assumed it to be a wierd sponge? the antennas really throw me off though, mine looks identical minus antennas ..poke it

Mine have the atena and when thy touch another piece of rock it expands again in to a sponge...lol
guess its one way to move around the tank or spread would be easyer to shoot off long atena till tou touch something worth growing on

It sure looks strange though. I was looking through my tank for some type of a creature that I was never able to find. Had visions of something taking a nasty bite out of me.
