Different people want different things from their dogs. The beagle may be perfect for you. I grew up with dogs like labs. The beagle was a shock because it really didn't give a crap about where you were or what you were doing.

Probably why I prefer the total opposite, the VERY needy doberman...lol.

Not everyone wants a needy dog though. And since you know about not letting it run free, cool !

The last one is of our Boxer "Ozzy" R.I.P.
We've had boxers for over 16 years, so this beagle breed is all new for us.
I'll keep you posted as to how Molly is doing.

Oh she is too cute. Which is how they get away with eating your socks etc.
Ozzy was quite handsome. Boxers always look to me like they should have their servants sitting at their feet. LOL

Yeah, they're very regal looking, aren't they. A real nice breed too. Only drawback is they have real health issues.

She actually came from Calgary. My wife had contacted the owner earlier and then attended the Junos and visited our daughter. She then brought her home with her.
