![]() Herbie...100% quiet, the only time I can hear it is if the water gets low from evaporation and I can hear the water from the skimmer, thats it.

Even if you have to order one from J&l/Oceans, get one, it will save you time. Hope that helps! Jason

![]() I agree with the gate valve only comment. I annoys me when people come into Herbie method discussions complaining that it didn't work for them and that they tried it with a ball valve - its like trying to push a square box through a circle.

![]() I have used a ball-valve for 4+ years on my herbie, works great.
I think it should be called something other then a Herbie, cause I invented it w/o any help from Herbie.........it's true! A gate vale is better thought, much better.
