![]() Leave your Calcium reactor off and dose a calcium chloride additive. Reef systems use both calcium and carbonates. If one is limited, consumption of the other will fall off. By supplying calcium your tank can then use the existing carbonates and alk will drop.

![]() What is your CA at ? If its low you'll have to bring it up and your Alk will shift down.
