Colin they look really nice corals but maybe you can try using less saturation and/or a higher light exposure. It's hard to tell what they really look like, almost like they are painted. Or is that you wrapped them in velvet? Anyway you have some awesome stuff and these look to be no exception.

thanks greg but my camera has extremely limited options. i can adjust exposure but i have been lowering the exposure, maybe i should try and increase. the camera nevers seems to catch blues or purples. sorry they look like that

Colin you have nothing to apologize for. They are obviously beautiful corals. Trust me I know how hard it is to get the true colours to come out in a photograph. I definately have limited ability and camera options. But I'll give it a try.
How about this? I photo-shopped a lot of the saturation out. Not as bright but shows a little more detail and to me looks more realistic. I am sure the coral is actually brighter than this in person.
