open the cap and smell it, if it smells like gas it's probably still good, if it stinks, then it's probably bad. Old gas smells horrible, and will stink up a garage or anywhere it's spilled for a long time. And there should be a drain bolt on the bottom of the tank somewhere no need to siphon.

if it's been sitting for 2 years, you have bigger problems than gas.
There's oil, coolant, flat spotted tires, possibly seized calipers, cracked belts or hoses, old brake fluid, old transmission fluid, etc. |

My dad kept it around because we have another MPV van. We took parts from the useless one on the driveway and swapped parts as needed. I keep telling him to scrap the van but I think he's just ****ed that he's unable to siphon the ever elusive gasoline so he keeps trying.

Take the gas tank off and take the fule out.... I dont Know migh work might not.
