It would get darker, because havier oils will sink down, however gas companyes are keeping gasoline for longer times all they do differently is circulate the product. Gas is still good to use all you need to do is mixit again. This is providing the tank had a good cap to keep it air tight. No special equipment needed just a 4' hose and bucket, well and yo will need a funnel to put it to another car. JMO |

![]() i just had a car that had sat for 5 years and when i drained the carb and it was some nasty gas it was almost brown. its up too you but i think its not worth the risk

![]() open the cap and smell it, if it smells like gas it's probably still good, if it stinks, then it's probably bad. Old gas smells horrible, and will stink up a garage or anywhere it's spilled for a long time. And there should be a drain bolt on the bottom of the tank somewhere no need to siphon.

![]() if it's been sitting for 2 years, you have bigger problems than gas.
There's oil, coolant, flat spotted tires, possibly seized calipers, cracked belts or hoses, old brake fluid, old transmission fluid, etc. |
