![]() I am on my second ARC 14K bulb ($50 @ aquaria.ca). I love this bulb. Very blue and great results for a great price.

![]() I'm using the 14K pheonix and I really have liked it. I find it a really good balance of blue and white. I have never thried the Arc's but for the price I would be tempted to.
There is also no way that your 2 28W actinics would ever make a difference with a 250W halide blasting down.

You may also want to try the Hamilton 14K bulbs. Giesemann also makes a 14K bulb IIRC which may be worth looking into. |

![]() I am running 1 10K (400W)Reeflux bulb and 2 13K Geisemann (400W) bulbs in my fixture and the Reeflux bulb is way bluer than the Geisemann.
