is the powerhead hitting it directly with flow? I'd try moving the powerhead first.

Number seems to be high....but don't think that's the culprit. Check your no3 and po4 numbers and we will see if we can figure it out.

I will bring the S/G up through the next water changes and check my Po4. I will also move the powerhead a bit. It's above the coral shooting up, so not right on it.
I am using Red Sea test kits and Hannah Phos tester |

you should be more worried about having other sps near it. I had my green slimer slimed so badly on other colonies that it smothered it to death overnight.

just and suggestion.
can it be a chamical war....you have Cabbage coral, Toadstool coral, Colt Coral do you run carbon? |
