Right? I feel like anything I do to the tank sets it off.. I asked the person who had it before and he said he never had any of these issues.. so odd..

Even more so that any of the frags I made do the same thing.

Ha ha that's strange no doubt. Especially if no other ones are affected and water hasn't changed.

Yeah, it's very odd.

I am gonna see what happens when I bring my Calc, Mg and Alk down a bit.

Your current levels don't look too bad! I'm running close to the same.

Yeah, your numbers are pretty wonky. The SG is low (should be 1.026 for reef), but then "big 3" are super high. If NO3 and PO4 are very low or indetectable then the high alk could be irritating the Acro(s) - that combo is known to cause RTN and STN.

Which test kits are you using?

is the powerhead hitting it directly with flow? I'd try moving the powerhead first.

Number seems to be high....but don't think that's the culprit. Check your no3 and po4 numbers and we will see if we can figure it out.

I will bring the S/G up through the next water changes and check my Po4. I will also move the powerhead a bit. It's above the coral shooting up, so not right on it.

I am using Red Sea test kits and Hannah Phos tester
