![]() I don't want to spend $1100.00 on the Shaw whole-home system yet, so I'm using what I have
I have 2 cable boxes and a DVD-r I've made a lot of connections and the audio has dropped some I've looked online to find a booster for the audio, but I've had no luck Any suggestions ? |

![]() What you need is a line level preamplifier like the kind for turntables. With it you could increase the gain to the distant amplifier.

Older (smaller cables) can't handle the capacity. Also splitters need to be put together correctly. I found this out from shaw as when they split the load that some channels carry drops |
