![]() Not sure if I'm allowed to post links to ebay in here but I'm looking for a refractometer and I'm cheap. Is this worth it or will I be wasting my money? http:// http://item.mobileweb.ebay.c...d=321104909345
Other than I'm looking on kijiji and such. Looking for like 30-40. Might have posted in the wrong place though... |

![]() be careful the your getting a refractometer for seawater and not one for saltwater brine. I had initially purchased one for saltwater brine and it was 3 points off.

![]() why not just spend $50 and get the vertex one from red coral. atleast then you know you get the right one and don't have to worry about any extra fees that sometimes show up when buying from china

Some saltwater hardware should not be skimped on You'll find plenty of other things to buy cheaply, but get a good refractometer you can trust |

![]() My Vertex looks identical to some of the eBay refractometers. Consistency is more important then absolute accuracy. My vote is an eBay model if the price is good. Pick a popular model sold by a reputable seller.
