			 Hello,

would this http://www.aquariumpharm.com/catalog...m/apaaq175.htm tap water filter/purifier be sufficient enough for North Van water? Or should I consider full RO/DI filtering system. Right now I use Safeway RO water? It is a bit of pain to drag these jugs around. Thanks, Robert [ 25 August 2002, 14:52: Message edited by: Robert ] |

			 Hi,

I have the TWP, but I am moving on to a bigger RO/DI. I will be using the TWP as the final polishing stage for the RO/DI. For a small reef, the TWP was pretty good. However, bigger reefs are a pain with TWP. For the TWP to work to an acceptable algae bloom free level, I had to dial the TWP to run at 1 Gallon an hour...that's when the TWP is at full charge. When it is at 1/2 charge...you'll need to run at 1/2 the rate. You can get a TDS meter and it should tell you how fast you should filter the water at. You should expect to get about 150 gallons of water with a single charge. - Victor. |
