Atman Pump Customer Relations Recall

This recall is for customer relations purposes and due to potential damage to aquariums and associated equipment, it is therefore recommended users stop using these pumps. The recall is based on a customer complaint.

Pumps included in skimmer models
BUBBLE MAGUS NAC6 NAC7 NAC3.5 AND NAC5E

Aqua Digital inc were recently informed of one Atman PH2500 protein skimmer pump went bang and in doing so cracked the skimmer and the sump the skimmer was sitting in. We can not confirm whether the pump failure was due overheating or electrical component failure or whether this failure was power surge or even human error. Furthermore component failure such as jammed impeller by foreign object can also make pumps overheat.

The Atman pump is widely sold within the global industry for the use in Chinese branded skimmers and has multiple distribution channels. Bubble Magus inform us there have been no similar incidents of this nature.

USERS SHOULD CCONTACT THEIR RETAILERS DIRECTLY WHO WILL PROVIDE REPLACMENT PUMPS. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE GRANTED.
