Is it acrylic or glass? When you say needs TLC, could you be more specific. Any chance you have photos?

it is a glass tank
it is an old tank, everything works, needs cleaning and couple of nails in the canopy
you are more than welcome to come and see it
If you really want it we can work out the price
the tank is in the garage and has not been used since last year
I kept it as a QT
