I have a similar genus. I have had very poor results when acclimating. I always end up bleeding. Maybe I'm trying to acclimate too quickly

Yes, you don't want to startle this type. They can get rather agressive and shed scales easily, especially on any dark clothing just as you're about to go out

Christy is that a catfish? I read somewhere that there very aggressive when put in small tanks.

The problem I beleive u r having is that to b in a tank they must have a school of them we have strtd a small school with 3 and they all seem to b doing well, but the water must also b very oxygenated, good luck on your future endevers

That tank is way too small for a cat. How freakin' unethical is that? You need at least 4' for any of the domestic cats. Nice lookin' pu..er cat though.
