Default Skimmer no workie?

I changed my ROWAphos and carbon yesterday, both of which I run in fluid reactors.

This has done a number on my skimmer: it is producing huge amounts of microbubbles, and isn't producing foam or skimmate (just masses of bubbles!). It is an SWC 120, which has worked very nicely until now.

I've had to shut it off, as the skimmer and return pump are in the same compartment of my sump. Do I just need to wait this out?

Edit: Interestingly, the water in my display is the clearest it has ever been (even when I've turned the skimmer off in the past).

Default

I've had the same thing happen. I put a caulander under the skimmer and run it raised up in the water column so it can still skim and then do a water change. It usually takes a couple days to settle out.
