Thumbs up Skimmer thats a real Hero

After our recent announcement following Interzoo that we will be brining the Curve range of skimmers from Bubble Magus to Canada shortly we can now also annnouce that the Hero 77 will be gracing our shores also

The Bubble Magus Hero77 pictured above is a cone skimmer with two small Aqualine SP2000 water pumps which draw 16 watts of power each and together pump the Hero77 with 520 liters of air per hour. You could get that kind of performance from a bevy of single larger pumps, but then you couldn’t fit inside the body of the Hero77 to get the space friendly 14 x 12 inch footprint.

We anticipate pricing to fall into the stress free budget of around $550 for a 350 gallon capable skimmer!

Here are the tech specs

Needlewheel protein skimmer
HERO 77
Capability : 700L-1500L(185G -400G)
pump:SP2000 X2 ,16W
air intake : 520L/H
Dimensions: 360*300*580mm(14.17" * 11.8" * 22.83")
Water Level :9.5"-11"

we recommend this skimmer for tanks 200g-400 gallon the upper being low stocking level. Optimum size tank for this skimmer we estimate at 275 gallon.

Looking for a real skimmer Pig for 350 gallon heavy stocking level? Look out this early summer for the Canadian Skimmer Company (formally Skimz) CSC-350c loaded with two Sicce PSK 1200 pumps!!!

Details to follow.

we are looking at mid July for delivery.

There will be 1 reviewer per skimmer type.

thats cool that there will be a couple reviewers.. i most likely would be a poor candidate my experiance with skimmers are as follows .. seaclone 100..(i was new and nieve). vertex 1n-100 and vertex in180 tht i currently run.. the new system i will be running will be a 200 plus gallon system and im really liking the footprint of the hero 77.. already started my research on them to seeif it will be the right fit for me..
