Default BulkHead

I'm having a new tank built with a 1.5 " hole in overflow, does it matter when I buy the bulkhead before or after the hole is drilled?

I thought I remember reading somewhere you should have the bulkhead before you take the tank for drilling?

Tell Mitch to throw in a bulkhead! If not, he'll sell ya' one anyway.

He will give you the bulkhead when your tank is delivered.

A 1.5" hole will not fit a 1.5" bulkhead. The bulkhead usually needs a 2.5" hole drilled to allow for the size of the bulkhead itself. Talk to the guy who is building the tank and make sure he is drilling a hole large enough to accommodate a 1.5" bulkhead, if that is what you want.
