clam help please.

got a really sweet deal on a fairly large maxima clam about two months ago. Figured my water has been so good in the tank i was putting it in everything would be ok. Fortified the lighting a bit and everything was great. Really enjoyed watching how full and colourful it was. Kinda neat the way it would react to light change, fish swimming too close and even when i moved too close or took photos. Last three days have been hellish . first my seabae anenome started cacking junk followed by my hairy mushrooms tailspining into mush, isoloated them in a refugium. Lost my seabae. Came home tonight after being away all day and my clam has his mantle all drawn in and looks pale. I have never seen so much of the inside of its shell before. really worried. Should i put it in my other tank where everything is going well, or move it to a friends tank. or is it just more stress on it. If someone has lots of experience with clams has advice please post quickly. thanks
