![]() maybe you're not giving it enough time to develop the wave?
each tank is different for me it took a bunch of patience and fiddling. Esp since I have a built in overflow in the back middle of the tank to disrupt flow. eventually gave up on it and went to reef crest mode for random flow. at the water level I'm at I actually got the wave to get pretty darn close to splashing the rim of the tank. MP10 in a 40g breeder. Last edited by Rogue951; 05-03-2012 at 10:24 PM. |

![]() Maybe the 40 won't push enough water in a tank that long?
I find the 10 barely has enough push for the width of my 40 breeder which is 3 feet. I'm assuming you read the instructions right? just comes down to planting yourself on a chair infront of the tank, setting the dial, waiting, and if nothing, try another setting waiting some more. In the end it may not be what you're looking for. It's not the best wave maker, it just does a decent approximation of one. |
