Default terror in my tank

Hope some one can help me. Something is terrorizing my tank at night. When I turn of my m/h and leave on the moon lights my fish are in complete terror. Woke up three mornings ago and my lawnmower blenny was killed and partly eaten. Thought maybe all my hair algae is gone he didn't get his share of nori and maybe starved or died of old age or something. Hate to lose a fish but everything else seemed ok. Next morning i look and my midas blenny is missing half his tail and sone flesh at the base and he is spooked. Close examination turns out my largest fish - a foxface has a wound on his forhead. I stayed up half the night watching for something to show its ugly face but i see nothing. Get up this morning and my foxfaces tail has a hunk out of it. havent added anything to my tank in quite a while. Only thing different in there is my clowns have finally moved into their anenome. Maybe a crab got big or a mantis shrimp? Anyone have a similar experience and figure it out?

Hear any clicking? Try baiting a trap at night using the pop bottle trick. Cut the top off a pop bottle and glue/tape it upside down back into the bottle. This makes a little funnel to go into, and makes it tough to get out.

Well I woke up this mornin my midas goby was dead. (sounds like an old country song). Now I am not only sad but ****ed off. Tried the pop bottle trap but to no avail. How big should the opening be? Any other ideas? Thought I would bait the trap with the remains of the goby. Is that too cold? He really was one of my favorite fish.

its been a couple months since i added a rock with a long tentacled anenome from jack. The rock really has no hiding spots on it. I have made a trap i am putting in tonight.

Default Clicking sound

hi

I have clicking sound in my tank too and fishes are either jumping out of the water / sleeps at the front of the tank. Does that mean a mantis shrimp in there too ?

Default you wont believe it

ya it was a crab killed two of my fish and damaged another. It was like a really big hermit crab with really black legs and claws. from now on no crabs unless they have very blue legs. caught him in the middle of the night harrassing my foxface. Put him in my refuium in my other tank and have had no damage at all since two or three days.
