![]() Has anyone ever seen bio pellets turn red. I'm running two reactors, one looks normal ( pellet color ) the other one the pellets have turned red. Confused I am.
Running vertex pellets in both. |

![]() No i have not seen them turn red but it sound like they are getting plugged up and building up crap you dont want. increase your flow so the really tumble hard to flush it out. You might have to give them a good wash as well.

Can you snap a picture of them? What kind of throughput flow do you have through the reactor? Could it be getting anoxic in there and they're reacting to a lower pH? Can you measure the pH of the effluent of the reactor?
