Turn down the flow on an aqua c remora ?

I just installed the Aqua C Remora on my 26G Bowfront and it seams like it's going like a runaway freight train - maybe it's just the size of this thing. It is twice as big as the Hydor slim skim I had before.
It has a Maxijet 1200 pump I will look into other pumps to see what is available that maybe a bit quieter with similar flow. It sure is churning up quite a storm in the reaction chamber and it's still quieter than the Hydor, but not as quiet as I would like to see. Th main bonus is real estate.

To cut down on the noise, build one of these.

If you want a quicker fix, just fold up a piece of paper towel and place it where the lid in the above link goes. Make sure you replace the paper towel evey couple of weeks.

OKGuy BIG THANKS That works awesome I just did the paper towel trick, I will get a small piece of acrylic and make a proper silencer.
