Default Blue Skimmate?
i woke up this morning and looked at my skimmer and the skimmate is blueish green.

anyone know what would cause this?

everything in the tank looks normal

What did you add to the tank yesterday? Spirulina brine? Formula 2 pellets? Mint schnapps?

no idea what it could be. didnt feed anything by NLS pellets yesterday

your skimmer is running somewhat wet. that is what that is I have it all the time with my skimmer its pulling nutrients out while running somewhat wet.

hmmm. well it usually runs dry but last night when i cleaned the filter sock and put it back in. the skimmer started bubbling higher.

but still cant understand why blue. if its skimming wet, its usually a light brown

Well your filter sock was washed in what that would be why it's going all bubbly
