LF Live Rotifers for culture

I am looking for live rotifers to start a culture. I was just up in Edmonton and wasn't able to find any at the pet stores. I've found a place online that sells a live rotifer starter culture for $30, which is pretty reasonable. Unfortunately, shipping is $75. I have tried Florida Aqua Farms rotifer eggs, but was unable to get them to grow. If there are any pet stores or people that have a culture for sale, please let me know.

I am willing to travel, within reason, as I would prefer not to have them shipped in this weather.

Any store that carries Reef Nutrition (and buys it direct from Reed Mariculture) can special order live rotifers for you.

Just call the store a day before you are in town.

We dont keep the rotifers at the store to ensure freshness, and colony count.

to hard to maintain at the store.

we acually culture our own just the facility is off site due to space constraints.
