Default DYI Rock - What Cement????

All I can fine for Portland cement is "General Portland 10" Can this be used to make LR. I can't find any other portland on Vancouver Island, Nanaimo area. Please Help

That cement is fine. Canada uses typ 10, 20 and 30. in the US it is type 1, 2 and 3. So type 10 in Canada is type1 in the US.

Mike, did you find the curing time reasonable with type 10? that's what I've used but I haven't started curing it in the water yet.

I Found that the curing time ws really fast in the rock ,due to having made it very pourous. And the coraline grows fast.

Porosity makes a difference, very interesting idea, I'll give that some thought then.

Also there is low pH cement and my choice white cement....

I went with the white as well, but I believe it's low Alk not low pH.
