JaiWiz is on a distinguished road
Default hope he starts eatting aiptasia

I got a matted filefish about 4 days ago, just wondering if there are any tricks of the trade to get him to take care of the aiptasia or is just a waiting game. when i feed my tank freeze dried brine shrimp or purple nori he'll eat but he wont touch pellets. should i completely stop feeding my tank till he starts mowing down on my massive aiptasia garden??

I still fed my filefish almost everyday and he ate all my aiptasia, but it took him 2 weeks of being in the tank before he started to.

Give it some time dude, my took a couple weeks to get used to my tank before he stared munching away. Mine came from a fellow Red Deer reefer and it took a couple weeks before it started in her tank as well. Keep feeding the other fish.
