Hofer Gurgle Buster
Hi all,
I've moved my tank upstairs into my living room. I have a 90 gallon drilled with one drain and one return. The problem is it gurgles like crazy and may drive me mental. I was doing some research and found this: http://home.everestkc.net/jrobertson...struction.html Has anyone tried this? Does it work? Any suggestions on trying to make the drain as nearly silent as possible. The water gurgles going in and coming out. I've got a reverse durso drain on the bottom but it doesn't work very well for reducing noise. Any other suggestions? Thanks, Patrick

is it possible to take a picture of the overflow box or setup i have set up many silent dursos.

I did the Hofer on my 155 Bow as it had very small overflow boxes. Was very easy to build, worked great & was very quite.
