Stupid Questions: things that make you go "hmmm"

K, lets have them... Have a stupid question that makes you go hmmm...

Heres a few to start things off:

- How come wrong numbers are never busy?

- If 7-11 is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, why are there locks on the doors?

- Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, "I think I'll squeeze these dangly things and drink whatever comes out?"

- Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?

If 1/3 is 0.33 repeating and 2/3 is 0.66 repeating why isn't 3/3 0.99 repeating?
