![]() Just a note of caution to all. I found my K3 not working the other day. Upon further inspection, the plug is all fried!! Had a drip loop in cord too. Was mildly shorting at the wall plug and fried the plug itself. So, I unpluged the pump. Left pump in tank for a few days. Today I pull out and the cord end on the pump is wet!! Nothing dripping down the cord. Cut cord open and its wet all inside. The cord was acting like a straw allowing Salt Water right down to the plug.
Just a word of caution. This could have burned my house down!

![]() Short between Hot and Neutral, GFI will not do anything in that scenario, so ya GFI working properly.
Yes, cuz, kinda like a siphon.More Capillary action, where the water weeps down the inside of the cable to the plug end...
