Default JBJ 70w K-2 Viper HQI

Hi all I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the JBJ 70w K-2 Viper HQI. If so what size and depth of tank did u use it one and what corals were u able to keep?

Cheers, Ian

buy the 150watt if you haven't bought the 70watt yet

even with the 70watt you can keep anything but sps

I have the k-2 150w in a 25g tall. i have a mixed reef and it works well. 70w does not have the same efficiency as a 150w, i would recommend going with 150w if you are doing mh

really? u think i should get the 150w? i guess i should give the depth of the tank. the water will b like 10"-9" deep. would this work for sps near the top of the tank or even midway?

My mom has the 70w over her 12g. She actually went back to it from a 150. It grows sps just fine.
