![]() Anyone have any ideas what this creature is? It was a hitchhiker on a piece of live rock I have in quarantine. Sorry if the pictures are a little fuzzy, they don't do justice to the hooks the little bugger has. Thanks.

![]() I can tell you I have a couple and they are not a mojano and do not seem to do much they only open when lights are out. Someone did tell me as I asked because I could not find it in my books and I have quite a few this was about 10 months ago.

![]() Hmmm, not sure... I would guess some sort of aptaisa? It kinda looks like one inside of a hole.
Personally, I would destroy it!

![]() I'm not 100% sure, but I think Pisces sells them as Flower Anemones.

![]() I have one of those as well. Noticed it a few months ago. Has'nt grown or spread and is the size of a dime. I put kalk paste on everything undesireable but for some reason have left it alone. So just tagging along.

![]() Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. Is it common for aiptasia sp. to have the hooks and barbs this guy has? My pictures don't really show how the tentacles look, but to the eye it almost looks armored (think the monster that ate Boba Fett). Also, it is open light or dark, and the arms are very active, catching whatever it can and pulling to the center.
