![]() No they are very messy eaters and therfore cause problems in water quality.
They grow fast and huge. They are very difficult to keep so reputable LFS go not import them. If you did buy one return it to the LFS> |

![]() One in the picture is a platax teira or long-finned/tall-finned. Pinnatus gets called log-finned as well though. Other species available is an orbiculate which is usually called a round batfish.
