Default Jebo aquariums are a nightmare to work on

I've been helping a friend out for the past week re-plumb her 4 year old 200gal Jebo tank. Today we got to changing the plumbing coming down from the overflow which had always leaked. Now for the list of what really ****ed me off:

1. Jebo doesn't drill their holes large enough. The bulkhead fits in there REALLY tight. So tight that the threads are damaged when they are installed making removal and re-installation very difficult.
2. Jebo's bulkheads are 1/16" smaller than what J&L sells so their bulkheads are not interchangeable with better quality ones.
2.5 No one sells Jebo bulkheads.
3. There are no internal threads on Jebo's bulkheads so once you cement some pipe to them you'll never take it apart again without a hacksaw.
4. Jebo does a poor job of siliconing around the bottom of their overflow towers... to compensate they silicone the bottom of the bulkhead underneath the tank.
5. Jebo installs the bulkheads upside down with the threading inside the tower. In a saltwater tank those threads jamb up with calcium deposits making them near impossible to unscrew.
6. Jebos overflow towers are one complete unit meaning they don't come apart and only long thin arms can reach the bottom comfortably.
7. The overflow tower bulkheads go through three layers: the plastic overflow box, the bottom glass, and a plastic base under the tank. This creates a huge risk for leaks if every layer is not adequately siliconed to the other... which it isn't.

After this project is done I will never touch another Jebo tank.
