Nuisance Algae

Anybody seen this stuff before?





It is a slow growing algae.
Tougher than chaeto.
Attaches to structure.

I've got it in several spots. How do i get rid of it?
I've got 2 tangs and they don't touch it.

I have the same stuff in my Biocube. My Turbo snails seem to keep it in check but never get rid of it totally. It doesnt seem to spread too readily either.

It's long bubble like algae isn't it?? I have a little patch starting to grow, that I'm going to scrape(in a different tank) It seems to grow really slow correct?

no, it's not like a long bubble algae
it really is like chaeto,... but tougher
kinda like a brillo pad
the stands are 1/2" long
