Rich, no disaster. I got bored on Friday night and decided to remove my DSB. And although a frag sale wasn't planned, I do find my self with a ell of a lot more corals than I had 6 hours ago!! My largest table is now 6 or 7 smaller tables, green pocillipora all over the place, etc!!
I'm also stuck with the idea of adding eurobracing, but I have more tubs of rock and corals than I planned on and now I'm not sure I can wait for the silicone to set before I'll need to get everything back inheated moving water!!!

Are you removing your DSP because of all the talk of them failing or did it fail on you?

I am also removing mine for the same reason. going from a 6" to a 1" sand bed.

Well sounds like you have your work cut out for you Brad!

What's all this talk about DSB failing? I must have been snoozing, as I haven't heard anything along those lines.

As for the frag's, well I could make a trip over next weekend to lighten your load if you will still have them by then. You could give me a bulk discount

And why the euro bracing, just for some added strength or do you plan on not trimming back your colonies for awhile

Goodluck and I hope all goes well Drop me a PM if you are interested in the above offer.

I heard somewhere that if you silicone in euro brace's that you are supposed to wait 72 hours for it to cure

cheers, Rich

Rich, it's possible that my sand problem stems from an open bucket off sand and my cat. Most of the sand is about 4.5 years old, so it's possible that the old sand syndrome hit me
I've been fighting some weird algae for a while on the sand, and just decided I'm tired of it. I'm putting more sand in, but only about an inch.

The eurobracing isn't going to happen; I didn't plan this well enough and I can't force my critters to suffer due to my poor planning. I'm just going to have to clean the center brace more diligently.
Now I have the task of filling the tank up. I have no idea how I'm going to fit everything back in.
And I'll have an official frag tank set up in the next few days, and should be able to give you an idea if and what is available!
