Default Coffee table Tanks ??

This isnt something thats going to come together for me anytime soon but i would like some insight.

has onyone done this before? i would like to do sw. most likely just softies(rics and Zoas), as i dont want a big hanging light.

outside glass dimens would be 58x18x12T 54.2 G. i have a brass table frame i would use. tank would fit inside the frame of the 2 glass tables(shelves).

First things first i would like ALL cabes at one end. thinking 48" glo 2x54w for the lighting just sitting in the middle of the table(thin fixture). tank would be viewable from all sides.

for obvious reasons i woud ike to keep the cables to a minimum so as far as the setup goes would a gyre tank be the best option to keep powerheads to a min. would have to be all in one as the possiblity of a skimmer is limitied due to the table top. this is why i am thinking gyre tank. as it would have room in either the overflow or return chamber for the heater/skimmer. Skimmer would have to be a max of 11" tall including collection cup and capible of handling 54G.

Any ideas?

there was a coffee table tank on Canreef before that was rather neat. Just can't find it with a quick search, sure someone else will put it up.

one I'm thinking of was a low shallow tank in front of a couch. Had lights on a hanger/pulley system to raise and lower.

you could put mouldings at the edges large enough to hide retrofit T5 reflector and angle it a bit towards the middle. something like this maybe?
